Try me, Beyoncé.

Hello! So, about my favorite hero movie. I like the entire Marvel universe a lot, but if I had to choose I think the movie I like the most is Doctor Strange. If you haven’t watched the movie, the story is about a neurosurgeon that is really good at his job, probably the best but he was very narcissist. So, due to a car accident, he loses part of the mobility on his hands and he couldn't do his job anymore. And he didn't want that so he tries everything that he can for bring in back the mobility on his hands. In this crossroad, he met the "ancient one" that shows him some things that are beyond what is understandable. I don't want to do spoilers but I think this movie is very cool because it's not like the other ones in Marvel. The story is about more magical things and others universes that are not so talked about in the other movies. Also, never forget this iconic phrase.
One subject I really like studying this semester was biochemistry because I really love all the things related to chemistry, but this wasn't always like that. I remember when I was in school I wasn't really good at chemistry, my marks were almost always bad because I didn't like the teachers and the way they teach me. But in the gap year I take I decided studied a lot for the PSU, specifically for the science exam. So I got a teacher that she is a pharmaceutical chemistry and she teaches me a lot about chemistry that I didn't pay attention before and I really enjoyed them, and now all the things I learn they served me for the subjects that I have now in the university. And one thing I realized, was the exams at the university are really similar to the PSU, especially in biochemistry and chemistry so the difficulty it was not so much to me because the last year I practice a lot doing essays about the of the chemistry part of the PSU.

Career-related website 🐧

The website I chose is https://www.nationalgeographic.org/education/channel/nat-geo-wild/, and this site is part of the National Geographic called Nat Geo Wild. It has a lot of information about all types of animals, from the tiniest animal to the biggest and extraordinary ones. Also, it has information about other organisms that live on our planet. But this website doesn't only have information, it also has online and face-to-face courses about wildlife conservation. The reason why I like this website is that is very educative and interesting, has a lot of things that are so important and relevant especially nowadays, such as the extinction of species, the reasons why they are endangered and how people can help them. If I could, I would take one of their courses to learn and maybe have the experience to meet wild animals. I don't visit this webpage very often because I watch the tv channel whenever I have free time, and some of the information they have on their website is a

Well ... I actually have a couple of "phobias" in my life, some are quite common such as clowns, mimes and spiders but this time I‘m going to talk about one in particular, my experience with the sea. First of all, I must confess that I don’t know how to swim, I also do not remember when but I know I was a little girl when this phobia started.  I remember it was summer and my family decided to go to the beach but this time they decided to go to a place in which there were not many rocks. I was walking not so close to the shore and suddenly a big wave came and started to drag me in. I remember that my dad immediately tried to grab me but also dragged him a little to the sea, at that moment I felt that I was really going to die. Since then I have not wanted to get into the sea. I prefer to stay away or just put my feet when I’m with someone else. I’ve tried to get rid of that fear by trying swimming lessons in swimming pools, but the last time I was able to get to one I e

Lotus

I took this picture last year exactly after I finished the PSU. I was going through a rough moment due to all the stress and responsibility that comes after taking such a significant test. Also concern because of what was going to happen after the exam without having made up my mind regarding what to study in college. Even though I had sort of an idea of what to after, I was still quite anxious about the outcomes of the exam. Suddenly, lotus flowers showed up on my way home. I stopped by to enjoy the view and took the photo. I particularly like this photo because of what lotus flowers mean. These flowers grow in the mud, and as they grow they clean everything around them. I think I'm lucky by the fact that I saw them that day because, at least for me, it meant that it was the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.

Chewbacca? Ewok? Chubie.

I have only one pet and she is with me since October 2015 because one of my aunts had their parents and she was giving away all the sons. My brother wanted a dog so badly so my mom takes one of them that we called Chubie. Chubie when she had two months old. I remember the first days with her she was always crying in the night, and I was the one who comes to saw her and pet her until she fell asleep. After a while, I realize that she cried because she was afraid of the dark, so I turned the lights every night and then she realized there was nothing to fear in her new house. The thing what I like about her is that is really quiet, she has a personality very similar to me. And when I get home she always comes to me very happy. Chubie is special to me because she helped me in a tough moment that happened to me. I was a mess when she came to my house, but after share moments with her, we became so close together so I felt I had a reason to stop feeling so bad. I looked for help and

My favorite gadget

It's plain to see but my favorite device is my cell phone. The one I have now I got it a year ago as a gift from my father because the one I had before didn't work pretty well. It turned off every time so I needed to change it. I use it to see videos, take photos of my pet, listen to music, use social media and recently I use it to study for university. What I like the most of my phone is that it is portable, I can go everywhere with it, it doesn't weight too much and it isn't big. It even fits in my pocket. And have so many apps to entertain myself that I could never get bored. I use it everyday, I'm always with it. I think if I hadn't have it, It would be really hard for me to communicate with my family or friends when I'm not around.

Why I choose this program?

I remember when I was a child I wanted to be a doctor. I was so determined that I even asked my parents to put me in "L1" because it was one of the best schools back then. When I was in the secondary I changed my mind and I wanted to study psychology and I even thought I could become an engineer. But when I finished the school I didn't enroll university, because I was so confused about what to study. So I take a gap year, and in the first place I thought I wanted to be a dancer, but after thinking about it I decided not apply, and I studied as hard as I could to apply to university and become a Veterinary. Talking about the experience at the university it's been pretty good so far, I thought that is going to be kind of lonely but I made good friends. And finally, in the future I would like to find a job that makes me happy and gives me the opportunity of travel a lot.

Autobiography

My story begins in 1998 in Santiago, Chile. I live with my family and it is composed by my parents and my two siblings. My big sister is a school teacher and my younger brother is a middle school student. Regarding my studies, before studying this program I was in a girls' school. And I have a lot of good memories about my classmates. Honestly, when I finished school I didn't know what to study, but this is the moment where my pet comes in the story. Chubie saved my life when I was in a very tough moment, so this is when I decided to study something involved with saving animals. My hobbies are singing and mostly dancing. Because I feel I can express my emotions through them. As you can see, music has a fundamental role in my life.
I like this picture because i like these type of trees that in its native country Japan are called Sakura. They bloom every year in spring and they leave all the ground with beautiful flowers of different colors. Now we have in my country, Chile and they remind me that, maybe in the future, I could go to her original country and learn his gorgeous language and culture.
