One subject I really like studying this semester was biochemistry because I really love all the things related to chemistry, but this wasn't always like that. I remember when I was in school I wasn't really good at chemistry, my marks were almost always bad because I didn't like the teachers and the way they teach me. But in the gap year I take I decided studied a lot for the PSU, specifically for the science exam. So I got a teacher that she is a pharmaceutical chemistry and she teaches me a lot about chemistry that I didn't pay attention before and I really enjoyed them, and now all the things I learn they served me for the subjects that I have now in the university.
And one thing I realized, was the exams at the university are really similar to the PSU, especially in biochemistry and chemistry so the difficulty it was not so much to me because the last year I practice a lot doing essays about the of the chemistry part of the PSU.

Well ... I actually have a couple of "phobias" in my life, some are quite common such as clowns, mimes and spiders but this time I‘m going to talk about one in particular, my experience with the sea. First of all, I must confess that I don’t know how to swim, I also do not remember when but I know I was a little girl when this phobia started.  I remember it was summer and my family decided to go to the beach but this time they decided to go to a place in which there were not many rocks. I was walking not so close to the shore and suddenly a big wave came and started to drag me in. I remember that my dad immediately tried to grab me but also dragged him a little to the sea, at that moment I felt that I was really going to die. Since then I have not wanted to get into the sea. I prefer to stay away or just put my feet when I’m with someone else. I’ve tried to get rid of that fear by trying swimming lessons in swimming pools, but the last time I was able to get to one I e...

Chewbacca? Ewok? Chubie.

I have only one pet and she is with me since October 2015 because one of my aunts had their parents and she was giving away all the sons. My brother wanted a dog so badly so my mom takes one of them that we called Chubie. Chubie when she had two months old. I remember the first days with her she was always crying in the night, and I was the one who comes to saw her and pet her until she fell asleep. After a while, I realize that she cried because she was afraid of the dark, so I turned the lights every night and then she realized there was nothing to fear in her new house. The thing what I like about her is that is really quiet, she has a personality very similar to me. And when I get home she always comes to me very happy. Chubie is special to me because she helped me in a tough moment that happened to me. I was a mess when she came to my house, but after share moments with her, we became so close together so I felt I had a reason to stop feeling so bad. I looked for...

Why I choose this program?

I remember when I was a child I wanted to be a doctor. I was so determined that I even asked my parents to put me in "L1" because it was one of the best schools back then. When I was in the secondary I changed my mind and I wanted to study psychology and I even thought I could become an engineer. But when I finished the school I didn't enroll university, because I was so confused about what to study. So I take a gap year, and in the first place I thought I wanted to be a dancer, but after thinking about it I decided not apply, and I studied as hard as I could to apply to university and become a Veterinary. Talking about the experience at the university it's been pretty good so far, I thought that is going to be kind of lonely but I made good friends. And finally, in the future I would like to find a job that makes me happy and gives me the opportunity of travel a lot.
